DALLAS (SMU) – The SMU volleyball team, which is coming off back-to-back American Athletic Conference championships, begins the 2017 season at home Aug. 25 and 26, hosting Mississippi State, Rice and Texas A&M – Corpus Christi in the SMU DoubleTree Invitational. The non-conference slate also includes a tournament at Arkansas State, with matches against Ole Miss and Virginia Tech, and a tournament at Texas State.

The conference schedule includes 20 matches, 11 at home and nine on the road, with home-and-home against nine of 11 conference opponents, including Wichita State in its first year in the conference.
