The Dallas Mavericks announced their 2017 preseason schedule
which tips off on Monday, Oct. 2 at 7:30 pm at American Airlines
Center against the Milwaukee Bucks.
The 2017 preseason schedule will see Dallas play three home
games at American Airlines Center, two games at opposing NBA arenas
and one neutral site game.
In addition to opening up the preseason against the Bucks, the
Mavericks will host the Chicago Bulls on Oct. 4 and the Orlando Magic
on Oct. 9 in their remaining two home games.
Dallas will make their road debut when they battle the Magic in
Orlando at the Amway Center on Oct. 5. The Mavericks’ final two
preseason road tests will be against the Hawks at McCamish Pavilion on
the campus of Georgia Tech on Oct. 12 before they conclude the
exhibition season at Charlotte on Oct. 13.
Four of the six exhibition games will be locally televised. FOX
Sports Southwest will air the home game against Orlando (Oct. 9) while
FOX Sports Southwest PLUS will televise the Milwaukee (Oct. 2),
Chicago (Oct. 4) and Atlanta (Oct. 12) contests. All of the preseason
games can be heard on ESPN 103.3 FM and in Spanish on Univision
Deportes (1270 AM).
Following preseason play, Dallas tips off the 2017-18 regular
season with its home opener on Wednesday, Oct. 18 when the Mavericks
battle the Atlanta Hawks.
