Big Year for Postseason DFW College Football

by BoCarter | Posted on Thursday, November 30th, 2017
Bowl Notes: This has been a great year for college football in the DFW Metroplex. For the first time in history two DFW teams are going to FBS conference championship games (TCU to the Big 12 and North Texas to the C-USA contest), and this is the first time in recorded annals that SMU, TCU and UNT have been invited to bowls (Sunday selections) in the same season. Also, NAIA hopeful Texas Wesleyan resumed football after a 76-year layoff.
