Seguin, Benn and Radulov are the only  line performing
The Dallas Stars had a opportunity to win a second game on the road with their only National television appearance of the NHL Season.  With only two victories in their last 12 games, Dallas was once again shredded to a one line performance as the bottom nine forwards failed to show up. This game will be the nail on the Stars casket for failing to make the playoffs.
NBCSN, in-studio commentator, Jeremy  Roenick, who played for 18 NHL seasons and represented Team USA in numerous international tournaments including three World Cups and Olympics, categorized the Stars performance as “shredded with only one line showing up to play.”
Stars coach, Ken Hitchcock has juggled his top three producers Tyler Seguinn, Jamie Benn and Alexander Radulov (who signed  to a five-year, $31.25-million contract).  All three marquee players have seen time separately on the Star’s second and third  lines. This will be Hitchcock’s one and only season  behind the Stars bench for a second time.
