Party @ The Yard, four fireworks shows highlight homestand
Homestand also includes Tribue to Forrest Gump, First Responders Nights

Another Deep Ellum Brewing Party @ The Yard, four fireworks
shows and two exciting theme nights take center stage as part of a
six-game homestand for the Frisco RoughRiders this Thursday through
next Tuesday at Dr Pepper Ballpark.
The action-packed week starts Thursday with the latest Deep Ellum
Brewing Party @ The Yard. For just $10, fans 21 and older get access
to $1 beers, an assortment of food trucks, tailgate games, non-stop
music and a whole lot more. Plus, fans can take the party to the
Choctaw Lazy River for just $39.
In addition to Thursday’s festivities, the homestand features
four fireworks shows during the six-game stretch: Friday, Saturday,
Sunday and Tuesday as part of the Riders Stars and Stripes
The six-game stretch at Dr Pepper Ballpark also features two
exciting theme nights with Tribute to Forrest Gump Night on Friday,
and First Responders and Community Night Saturday evening.
As part of the Forrest Gump festivities on Friday, the Riders
will have a Forrest look-a-like running laps around the park all
night, with funds raised from each lap going to support the
RoughRiders Foundation. Additionally, fans can take their own Forrest
Gump park bench photo, play ping pong in the state fairway and one
lucky fan will have a chance to race Forrest around the outfield LED
boards as part of the “Riders Run” series.
The next night, the Riders salute the first responders and other
superheroes throughout our community. They’ll be honored in a pregame
parade, throw out ceremonial first pitches and be spotlighted
throughout the evening. The team will also wear special jerseys with
names of first responders (submitted by fans earlier this season)
etched all over. Those will be auctioned to benefit Operation Blue
