STTR: Yu Darvish Battles, Neftali Feliz Dazzles, and Joe Nathan Does None of the Above

The boys are back with another podcast and this time, with the season in full swing, there’s plenty to talk about.
Jason Cole of LoneStarDugout.com sat in for Mike Mcgehee and talked about his impression of Yu Darvish’s debut and the boys bantered about whether or not the standing ovation at the end of his outing was appropriate.
Neftali Feliz was on everyone’s minds after his debut and maybe moreso than Darvish’s outing just one night before. How impressed were the guys about his outing and was this just a sign of things to come? The one pitch that became the equalizer was his changeup as well as his ability to throw his breaking stuff for strikes. Was this debut better than possibly the most anticipated Texas Rangers’ debut in quite some time?
And it wouldn’t be a Rangers podcast if there wasn’t a player who didn’t quite perform the way he should have. Joe Nathan is on just about everyone’s bad list after blowing a save on Wednesday night, especially after a solid performance from Colby Lewis. How long will the Ranger stick with Nathan and will he be able to recover from his ugliest ninth inning of the season?
All that and a some minor league baseball as well on this addition of Scooping the Texas Rangers!
