The Hockey Attitude

The Allen Americans recorded their second shutout of the season as Aaron Dell celebrated his return to Allen.
Allen has the fourth best record in the ECHL and Dell was back with his championship play in goal.
Dallas Stars coach Lindy Ruff called his team ” discombobulated ” as the Stars are buried  9 points out of the last playoff spot. Ruff is now pointing the finger at his top players: Benn, Seguin and Spezza after blaming the bottom 2 forward lines for not playing his style of hockey.
Now, Ruff is desperately putting the top 3 players that he just discombobulated together on the same line leaving his last 3 forward lines without any scoring potential.
The last few weeks, Ruff was blaming the bottom of the roster now he’s blaming everyone but his own system.
“In the Ruff system, the forwards are suppose to go back to help the defense so that the defense can go on the offense.” according to Stars TV Analyst Daryl Razor Reaugh. the problem is that if one Stars player in out of position which has been the case this season, the team is caught usually ending up with a opponents goal.”
Allen Americans GM/Coach, Steve Martinson meanwhile has won in every league that he has coached in. He was a fiery, hard nosed SOB with the NHL’s Montreal Canadiens already proving his success with   championships in every league that he has coached. The Allen Americans have won 2 straight CHL Championships under Martinson.
He would make the perfect replacement for Ruff who has simply lost the Stars Locker room.
What the Stars need to do is send Lindy Ruff down to the minors to coach back into shape and bring Steve Martinson back to the NHL with former Stanley Cup Champion shut down ALL-STAR defenseman Richard Matvichuk (as defense coach)  to teach the Dallas Stars some defense.
Heralded as the top two Stars defense pairing Trevor Daly is MINUS 17 and Alex Goligoski only has 1 goal. It doesn’t take a hockey genius like me to realize at training camp  that the Dallas Stars Defense was at the bottom of the NHL in talent and the standings show!
The Americans and Stars both have 7 games remaining in 2014 with a NYE battles  against the Rapid City Rush in Allen and the Arizona Coyotes at the AAC.
Pollak named ESPN’s Dallas Stars Fan Hall Of Fame
With the ESPN FAN HALL OF FAME finalist announcement approaching, Richard ROCKET Pollak, has been selected as the DALLAS STARS FAN HALL OF FAME.

“I met Norm Green, the original owner of the Stars, who moved the team from Minnesota at Mayor Laura Miller’s office when he was investigating the opportunity  to move the North Stars franchise.  At that time, as his  Executive VP, I was representing Roy Boe ,the former owner of the New York Nets, who was planning to bring an IHL Franchise to Dallas. I met Stars VP Jeff Cogen, his first week that he was in town and then later worked for the Stars with Cogen in Marketing.”
