GRAPEVINE, Texas – The College Football Playoff Selection Committee announced today the fourth installment of its top 25 rankings.

The selection committee will prepare two more rankings, including the final set on Selection Day, Sunday, December 6.  The top four teams in the final rankings will play in the Playoff Semifinals on December 31, 2015, at the Capital One Orange Bowl and the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic.

“This was a week of close calls, small differences and hard decisions,” said selection chairman Jeff Long.  “While there has been stability at rankings one and two, the race for the Playoff and the New Year’s Six bowls is intense.  As we get closer to the end of the season, there are big games ahead.”

The selection committee will continue to evaluate teams and will meet in person the remainder of the season to review game action and issue its new rankings each week.
